Garden

The Garden is open all year round to the public.
It is divided into several sections such as the orchard area, with apple, pear and plum trees, and the Bog garden filled with wetland plants. We also have an arid garden, which is increasingly low maintenance as the temperature gets warmer each year.

A large part of the garden is given over to raised beds in which we grow fruit and vegetables. Look out for the fresh produce that we sell in season throughout the year. Our garden is looked after by Dee, who is our horticultural specialist and by a team of hardworking volunteers who come twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon to plant, water and weed.

A the top end of the garden we have a selection of herb beds, with many different varieties including types of mint, sage, thyme and marjoram .

This year we are planning to introduce many wildflower varieties and hopefully a living willow playarea.
