Sheep shearing

Jonathan, who used to be a farm manager here at the farm, comes every year at the beginning of the summer to demonstrate how to shear a sheep. These are photos of ‘Little Sheep’ being shorn in May. Shearing is done to keep the sheep cool during the summer months and to reduce blow-fly attacks, look out for news of the next shearing event.
