Rabbits
We generally have between 7–10 rabbits at anyone time. Usually we only re-home rabbits when one of our cages becomes free, here are some familiar faces:
Princess the English Lop, has been at the farm for two years and is albino which is why she has red eyes and white fur.
Albie a house rabbit that came to us after he was attacked by a fox. He has made a great recovery and gets on well with all the other rabbits.
Say hello to Maggie (pictured above). Maggie arrived in April from Freightliners Farm in Islington, where she has brothers and sisters. Maggie is a Vlaamse Reus Rabbit, also known as a Flemish Giant, she is now aged around 15 months. She is now fully grown, so she won’t be growing much bigger – phew! Vlaamse Reus Rabbits can live up to 7 years, so we expect her to be with us a while. Maggie lives with the Princess the old albino lop.
